Using the My Files table
The My Files table is the main access point for managing the files that you send to and from FDM plc. The table will display all of the files that you have transferred to FDM as well as any files that we have sent back to you.
Common examples of files that you may need to send to FDM include:
- Letter templates
- Data files
- Document specifications
- Pre-merged, ready to print mailshots.
- Other sensitive data not suitable for sending via email
Common examples of files that FDM may need to send back to you include:
- Document proofing files
- Proof Approval documents
- Amended artwork files
- Other sensitive data not suitable for sending via email
My Files
The My Files table allows you to view all of these files together in one place, filter the files available, search for specific files, view the files, download files and delete files that are no longer required.
To find the My Files table, follow these instructions:
- From the main menu go to 'My Files' > 'My Files
- Alternatively you can click on the 'My Files link in the 'Quick Links' menu.
- The My Files page will then load and display the My Files table.
- To download any file, click on the file name or on the 'Download' link from the 'File Actions' menu.
Information displayed in the My Files table includes:
- File name
- File size
- File author (who uploaded the file)
- Upload date
- Last download date
- Document Category
